FAQ
Q: How long is your show?
A: Shows can be the length of your choosing. My most popular show length is 45 minutes. For fairs and festivals the most popular length is 30 minutes. The longest I’ve ever done has been 90 minutes. The BIG BIG Fund-raiser Show is 75 minutes.
Q: Do you need a stage?
A: Although I don’t need a stage, stages are nice. Gym floors work well for family events and school programs. A covered performing area is required for stage shows outside. If you have a stage for me, it needs to be at least 8 feet deep by 12 feet wide.
Q: Do you have your own sound equipment?
A: Yes, I can provide my own sound. For most events I am setting up my own sound equipment. If I am to fly to an event you might have to provide it for me. I will bring a microphone with me. We can discuss this further if need be.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes, I have do have a one million dollar liability policy to protect you and your guests from who knows what. Some public events require that I carry my own liability policy. There has never been claim. I take pride in safety.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: It really does vary depending on the what, where, when, and how many, and if your event is a kid show, a family show, or an adult program. I’ll give a range of $500 to $1,500 for a show. I really do need to know the details. I’d even be happy to perform/speak at your church for a free will offering.
Strolling entertainment is around $150 per hour + travel.
Q: Can you be in our parade?
A: Absolutely. I’d love to take part in your parade. I can walk your parade route and juggle clubs or I can juggle clubs while riding a hover board. If you have a short parade I could juggle while riding a unicycle. Plus I have some special costuming depending on the event.
Q: Do you do birthday parties?
A: If you’re talking about a small in home party for your child, no. I do perform for private parties that take place outside the home. Maybe you have a 50th Wedding Anniversary or a 90th Birthday Party with a group of 50 or more, then I’d love to be there.
Q: Do you juggle dangerous stuff?
A: For little kids, no. For elementary school programs, no. For middle and high school students, absolutely! It really depends on my audience and my venue. I enjoy juggling fire and juggling real machetes.
Q: Is there a church you regularly attend?
A: Yes, we attend Christ The Rock Community Church in Menasha, WI.
Q: Do you perform in public schools?
A: Yes, all the time. No worries, I will not preach or talk about Jesus in a public school. I have educational themes available for all schools: STOP Bullying, The Truth About Drugs, Reading Is GRAND, and The Science of Juggling are my most popular choices.
